LIVERPOOL are said to be put off signing Brazil No1 Alisson thanks to Roma’s massive £70million valuation.
The Serie A side are unwilling to lower their estimation for their star stopper in no small part thanks to allowing Mohamed Salah to join the Reds for just £36.9m.

At the time, the fee seemed fairly substantial, but having scored 31 goals in just 38 appearances in all competitions this season it’s hugely backfired on the Italians.
Now they appear to be dead-set on playing hardball over Alisson, with Jurgen Klopp unwilling to play games.
In recent weeks, German goalkeeper Loris Karius has usurped Simon Mignolet to take over the mantle of Liverpool No1.
As he grows in confidence between the sticks at Anfield, Kop boss Klopp becomes increasingly adamant he won’t be held to ransom to land Alisson.

The Liverpool boss said himself he is considering sticking with his current squad, rather than dive into the market this summer.
Klopp claimed: “My favourite solution, always, is that we do it with our boys.
PORT-OH NO Why Liverpool thumping Porto is bad news for Manchester United
“They step up, they deliver, they improve. The problem they have is that everyone is watching them.”
Karius has kept clean sheets in three of Liverpool’s past four matches, including the 5-0 drubbing of Porto in the Champions League midweek.

The former Mainz stopper only conceded in the 2-2 draw with Tottenham, keeping the strikers out against Southampton and Huddersfield.
Karius himself was thrilled after learning he would be the Reds’ No1 moving forward.
In January, he claimed: “The situation wasn’t satisfying for me. Of course, I wanted to play every week.
“That’s my aspiration, but I knew that I’d get a new chance. Now I want to take this chance.”
