LIVERPOOL have been dealt a huge blow in their transfer chase for goalkeeper Alisson after Roma’s club president says the Reds have “zero” chance of signing him.
The Brazilian No1 has had a superb season with the Italian giants, and is yet to concede a goal a Champions League run that has put them into the semi-finals.

It has meant the 25-year-old has sprung onto the radar of some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Real Madrid and Roma’s opponents in that Champions League semi, Liverpool.
But speaking to Sky Sports Italia, James Pallotta insisted the commanding custodian won’t be going anywhere this summer.
He said: “We have no intention of selling him.
“I mean zero at all. I’m sure some people will probably come in with some bids, but I don’t have any interest in selling him, he’s a great goalkeeper.

“When we got him, I thought the same thing and as far as I’m concerned, I mean no.”
Alisson is high on Kop boss Jurgen Klopp’s summer transfer shortlist, along with being looked at by Real Madrid.
RASH DECISION? Man United star to delay talks over new deal
But the 25-year-old will decide his future at the end of the campaign, before heading off to the World Cup in Russia.
His agent, Ze Maria Neis, said: “Alisson is certainly one of the best goalkeepers in the world. He loves Roma, 100 per cent.

“Will he sign a new contract? Now he is focused only in Serie A and on the Champions League.
“We have a great relationship with Roma. We never spoke with Liverpool about him. Now Alisson only thinks in present time.
“I don’t know how much he will cost. It depends about Roma and the transfer market.”
Alisson has previously spoken how is delighted to be linked with both Liverpool and Real Madrid.
