LIVERPOOL fans have cried foul over missing tattoos from the neck of World Cup star Roberto Firmino.
He appears in the Panini World Cup sticker book without his famous neck tattoo that features a crown and a star and the world Deus – meaning God.

One fan on social media mused whether the word God had been removed, saying: “Wonder if Deus has been removed so as not to offend other religions?”
And even more bizarrely fans reckon his head has been transplanted onto the body of Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus.
Eagle-eyed collectors who have compared the stickers side by side have noted that the same creases appear in the same areas on both shirts.
Another said: “It’s somebody else’s body – Firmino has got that disgusting tattoo on his neck remember!!!”

Tattoos on the necks of other football stars are still visible in the album.
On the Football Cartophilic Info Exchange website a post reads: “…you’ll also notice a lack of tattoos on Firmino – that’s because the face is his but the body belongs to Gabriel Jesus.”

But after checking with Panini’s editorial offices in Milan, Italy, a spokesman for the publishing firm said no alterations have been made to the image of Portugal star Firmino.
A Panini spokesman said: “They [Panini editorial offices in Milan] have confirmed that we have acquired the picture from one of the most reputable photographers available.

“We have made no Photoshop alternations to the supplied picture.”
The same sticker of Firmino has previously had to be rectified because of misprinted details – it read that Liverpool play in Brazil.
