LIVERPOOL target Emerson Palmieri has shot down talk of a move to Anfield – insisting he is happy at Roma.
Kop boss Jurgen Klopp has shown interest in the £22million-rated left back, who has been called up by Italy after switching allegiance from his native Brazil.

But Palmieri, who is also wanted by Inter Milan, maintained he wants to remain at Roma’s Stadio Olimpico.
The 23-year-old played 36 times last season to help his club finish second in Serie A.
He has newly rejoined their first-team squad after a serious knee injury in May.
Palmieri said: “I have heard that clubs such as Inter Milan and Liverpool are seeking to sign me.

“But I am under contract with Roma. I am flattered by stories such as these.
“However, I want to stay here in Rome. I am happy here.

“Roma have a great squad, with everyone good enough to start matches. There are so many close-fought games, and it is vital for us to have a well-stocked squad.
“We can compete till the very end for the title.

“I’m not yet 100 per cent fit, but I am working to get there. I want to play, but the manager will decide if I am ready or not.”
Born in Sao Paulo, Palmieri began his career with local club Santos. He had a spell on loan to Palermo before joining their Serie A rivals Roma in 2015.
Palmieri’s snub is a blow to Klopp, whose side’s defence has struggled to match the quality of their free-scoring front line.
