The ugly scenes came at the end of Barcelona’s last gasp 3-2 win against their La Liga rivals – with Messi himself netting the winner from the penalty spot.

As the Barcelona players celebrated in front of the Valencia fans, admittedly not the best idea, a bottle was thrown that hit Neymar on the head.

Messi then turned to the crowd and allegedly shouted expletives. The Mirror claim the Argentine striker shouted: "The c*** of your mother, son of a thousand w*****!" translated from Spanish.
Former Liverpool man Luis Suarez also fell to the deck, as the Ultras reacted furiously as the Barca players continued to celebrate with fist pumps.

The penalty came about when deep into stoppage time, Messi played in Suarez and he was clearly taken out from behind by Valencia centre-half Aymen Abdennour.
Messi stroked home his 14th goal of the season to secure a vital three points in the title race.
In the heat of the moment, Messi was even seen blowing a kiss towards the Ultras section of the home support, and when a bottle was thrown, Neymar collapsed to the floor.
