Lindsey Vonn posts gruesome broken arm X-ray photo after suffering crash in training
LINDSEY VONN shares a gruesome X-ray photo of her broken arm after suffering a crash in training.
The American skier required surgery on her humerus following the fall in Colorado and it is not yet clear how long she will be out for.
One snap showed the actual breakage and another a rod in place to stabilise the upper arm of the slalom, super-G and downhill speedster.
Vonn wrote alongside the photo: “Yesterday started off well but ended badly. I crashed while training in Copper and badly fractured my humerus.
“I had surgery in Vail last night and everyone took great care of me.

Vonn, who dated Tiger Woods for almost three years and recently celebrated Lewis Hamilton's USA Grand Prix win with the man himself, is the most successful woman in World Cup ski racing with 76 wins.
She was set to compete in next month's World Cup races in Alberta, Canada.
But Vonn is no stranger to injury.
She suffered a torn ACL and fractured tibial plateau during the 2013 World Championships.
And in February this year she had three significant breaks on her knee after a super-G crash in Andorra.
