A die-hard football fan showed he had the height of passion for his team – by hiring a giant fire engine-style cherry-picker to see the final home match of the season.
The Lincoln City nut wasn’t put off after receiving an order prohibiting him from entering the team’s Sincil Bank stadium.
So he shelled out for the huge crane so he wouldn’t miss a minute of the action. And he saw the play-offs bound Imps draw 1-1 against Yeovil Town in League Two.
Fellow fans shared images of the supporter’s dedication on social media.
One wrote: “A banned fan has hired a fire engine to be able to watch the last game of the season today. #imps”
The Lincoln fan may have taken inspiration from a supporter in Turkey who recently did the same thing.

The Denizlispor supporter was serving a one-year suspension from entering the stadium.
So he also rented a cherry-picker instead, taking in the clash from a great height, with an astonishing view.

The fan celebrated atop the crane during the recent game against Gaziantepspor, before police eventually intervened and ordered the cherry-picker be lowered to the ground.
Meanwhile, Lincoln boss Danny Cowley has labelled the Imps, promoted from the National League last seaso, as the underdogs for their play-off semi-final date with Exeter City.
