PEP GUARDIOLA is set to be gazumped in his bid for Leroy Sane… by former club Bayern Munich.
The Catalan chief joined Manchester City from the Bundesliga giants this summer and has been desperate to bring the Schalke whizkid to the Premier League with him.

Reports in Germany last week suggested Guardiola had finally snared his man, with Sane agreeing a four-year deal at the Etihad.
The fee was believed to have been set at £42million – making the playmaker the most expensive German footballer of all-time.
But now Bayern are ready to throw a spanner in the works and steal the 20-year-old from Guardiola’s grasp.
