Leonardo Jardim tops Arsenal’s list of Arsene Wenger replacements according to reports in France
ARSENAL have Monaco manager Leonardo Jardim top of the list to replace Arsene Wenger, according to reports in France.
Ex-Gunners defender and France star Mikael Silvestre – who spent two seasons playing under Wenger – said at the weekend that Jardim should be the man to come in.

And that has fuelled the speculation in Wenger’s French homeland that Jardim will be the man to take over at the Emirates.
The Portuguese boss has worked wonders at Monaco this season, guiding them to the Champions League semi-finals and the top of Ligue 1 ahead of silly spenders PSG.
And, at 42, Jardim has enough time on his side to build a lgacy, much like Wenger has done in over two decades in north London.
Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone is another name on the shortlist but Silvestre says his defensive style puts him behind Jardim in the race for the Arsenal hotseat.

The ex-centre-back said: “You should look at someone who practices attacking football, like a Leonardo Jardim at Monaco.
"I would not fancy Diego Simeone to come and play a tight two lines in front of the goalkeeper.
"The Arsenal way of playing is attacking football, so you want to keep that."
