LEICESTER are eyeing up a move for Gremio striker Luan Vieira as they look to strengthen ahead of their Premier League title defence.
Claudio Ranieri has already retained the services of Jamie Vardy up front for next term but wants to add to his attacking options.
Luan would set Leicester back £20m but there are questions over his ownership
Vardy has signed a new deal at the King Power and rejected Arsenal
And Luan, 23, fits the bill, appearing in last season’s Brazilian team of the year and being versatile enough to double up on the left wing.
Leicester have sent representatives to Brazil in a bid to discuss a deal with the player reportedly keen on a move.
Claudio Ranieri has brought his team back into training already
But no fee has been agreed and the Foxes are yet to make a formal bid – which would have to be in the region of £20million.
And there may be a snag in the form of player ownership, as Gremio only control 70 percent.
