ROBERTO MANCINI is interested in taking the Leicester job – but he’s demanding an incredible £6million-a-year to lead the Foxes to safety.
SunSport can exclusively reveal that the ex-Manchester City boss is open to a Premier League return despite Leicester’s players backing former manager Nigel Pearson for the hot seat.

Chelsea’s twice-saviour Guus Hiddink and England Euro 2016 flop Roy Hodgson are also the running to replace Claudio Ranieri at the King Power Stadium.
But Mancini is the most high-profile target for the Leicester board, having won the league title with City back in 2012 while also making five appearances for the Foxes as a player back in 2001.
And the Italian won’t journey back to the Midlands on the cheap after recent spells at Galatasaray and Inter Milan, with his wages demands amongst the highest in the league.

However, a large number of influential Leicester stars would rather see Pearson back at the club after he helped them beat the drop in the 2014/15 campaign.
The 53-year-old left the following summer though, with the board citing ‘fundamental differences in perspective’.
