LEICESTER have been dealt another blow after new signing Nampalys Mendy was ruled out of action for a further five weeks.
The Foxes have won just twice in the Premier League this season despite storming to title glory in the last campaign.

Claudio Ranieri’s men appear to have abandoned their swashbuckling mentality and suffered a resounding 3-0 defeat to Chelsea at the weekend.

Leicester fans were hopeful of welcoming Mendy back to the fold soon after he picked up an ankle injury in his debut against Arsenal.
But the £13million summer signing will remain sidelined for a while longer after undergoing surgery to boost his long-term outlook.
Ranieri confirmed: “He was unlucky, he has had surgery just to clean a little fragment of the bone.

Mendy has managed just one appearance after arriving at the King Power Stadium as a replacement for N’Golo Kante.
But he clocked up over 120 Ligue 1 appearances during three seasons at Nice and is sure to slot straight into the team when he returns.
