LEICESTER are closing in on a £9.5million deal for Nice’s defensive midfielder Nampalys Mendy.
Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri has revived his interest in a player he wanted 12 months ago.
Ranieri first targeted the defensive midfielder last term
Leicester chiefs made a £7.75million bid after agreeing personal terms with Mendy, 23, but Nice want closer to £10million.
The Foxes are also attempting to resolve the future of Gokhan Inler, who has hinted he may leave the club.
