Leeds United hat-trick hero Samu Saiz accused of SPITTING at Port Vale star Joe Davis
LEEDS star Samu Saiz marked his debut with a hat-trick but was then accused of SPITTING at a rival player.
Port Vale boss and former Leeds player Michael Brown claimed the Spaniard allegedly gobbed at Joe Davis around the 40th minute.

And Brown was furious with the way the situation was handled as Saiz led the Lilywhites to victory in the Carabao Cup.
Brown said: “I think the boys lost focus a little bit.
“The guy who scored three goals spits in Joe Davis’ face in the 40th minute and it is very hard to take.
“So that certainly knocked us off balance. We asked their staff to take him off, they ignored that and he scored three goals.
“That is why it was getting a bit heated down in the technical area.”
Saiz netted his first after a Stuart Dallas cross rattled the post and fell into the attacker’s path for a tap in.

Michael Tounge got Vale level going into half-time but Saiz then stole the show as he rounded the keeper to get Leeds back in front.
He then fired into the top corner before Caleb Ekuban struck from outside the box.
Things went from bad to worse for Vale as Gavin Gunning was dismissed for a second yellow after a foul on Ezgjan Alioski.
Leeds boss Thomas Christiansen praised Saiz after his masterclass.

Christiansen said: “Samu gave us a small taste of what he can do.
“I am really pleased by his performance but this is not a one-day show, this should be a one-season show.
“He is a player who enjoys being on the ball. He has quality and he’s intelligent and he was a very important player today.”
