A planned pre-match protest against Massimo Cellino on Saturday was cancelled out of respect for Duncan Revie, the son of legendary former Leeds boss Don, who passed away last week aged just 62 after a brief illness.
A statement from Leeds read: “Everybody at Leeds United football club was incredibly saddened to learn of the recent passing of Duncan Revie, the son of the most successful manager in the club’s history, Don Revie.”

Duncan founded Soccerex in 1995 as a way of connecting the industry and enhancing the game’s commercial potential. He leaves a wife, Rita, and two children, Aidan and Natalie.
A minute’s applause was made ahead of Saturday’s home game against Barnsley in tribute, with members of the Revie family pitch-side.
Leeds United fans opposed to Cellini’s running of the club were all set to stage a protest after the Italian businessman was caught up in the corruption scandal engulfing English football.
