LAZAR MARKOVIC has returned to the Premier League – after flopping at Liverpool.
The Serbian has joined Premier League strugglers Hull on loan for the rest of the season after having his temporary spell at Sporting Lisbon cut short.

Markovic has been a major disappointment since joining Liverpool for £20million from Benfica in 2014, but still just 22 years old, he has time to turn his career around.

He was farmed out on loan to Fenerbahce in 2015-16 and has had just 20 starts in the last two seasons, including just a half dozen at Sporting this term.
But now new Tigers boss Marco Silva has given him the chance to rescue his flagging career and give Markovic a chance to help out in Hull’s relegation scrap.

They face Manchester United at Old Trafford on February 1 and Markovic is set to be involved in first-team football again.
Markovic’s Anfield career looks all but over and Klopp will be hoping the winger impresses enough to cash in this summer.
