THE ‘CLASICO’ dates for the 2017-18 season have been revealed as Real Madrid defend their title in Spain.
La Liga’s fixtures have been announced for the coming campaign today.

And the first Clasico of the season will be played at the Bernabeu on December 20.
Barca will then play hosts to their great rivals on, or around, May 6 – a 36th and potentially title-deciding league game for the teams.
Diego Simeone’s side – like Villarreal – will play their first two games away to complete construction of their stadiums.
And Sevilla are set to become the first side to play at Atletico’s new Wanda Metropolitano home on September 29.

Ernesto Valverde will face Real Betis for his first game in the Barca dug-out at Camp Nou on the weekend of August 20.
Zinedine Zidane’s Blancos face a trip to Deportivo for their opening clash.
The draw for the season’s fixtures was postponed until today due after Spanish football’s president Angel Maria Villar was arrested.
The disruption was caused after Villar and his son were pinched on suspicion of embezzling funds.
