Unsurprisingly, there was a cagey opening given previous day’s incidents.
But, with the game’s first attack, Mbappe showed just how dangerous he can be.

Kylian Mbappe was the hero for Monaco as he scored twice in 3-2 winEPA
The 18-year-old Monaco striker, who was so potent against Manchester City, got in behind the Dortmund defence and, as soon as he reached the box, went down following minimal contact from Sokratis Papastathopoulos.
The referee pointed to the spot, but the ever-reliable Fabinho struck his effort wide.
No matter, just moments later, Mbappe was on hand to open the scoring — though, in all honesty, he didn’t know too much about it.

Bernardo Silva found Thomas Lemar after a sensational solo run, and the midfielder’s shot-cum-cross hit the teen ace and found the back of the net.
It made him the second-youngest goal scorer in a Champions League quarter-final — and the youngest to score twice — after Bojan.
Dembele had a chance to level, but was called offside.
And he was lucky, as he missed when should have scored.

However, he made amends with an important goal after his side had fallen two behind.
The 19-year-old finished off after being teed up by Shinji Kagawa and made it 23 goals he has been involved in in his debut season in Germany.
But it was Mbappe who scored again to give him — and his side — the upper hand.
Kagawa’s sublime goal late on made for an interesting tie at the Stade Louis II.
And has given Dembele the chance to show he really is France’s No.1 teenage superstar.
