The beef comes as Pochettino is not convinced Walker can play two big games in a week, a notion the defender strongly disputes.

Spurs chief Daniel Levy is in a strong position, and will be in no hurry to sell off one of the club’s star performers.
However, with reports of a bust-up between the pair, Pochettino could sanction Walker’s exit this summer. Any bidding for the former Sheffield United man would start at £35million.
Trippier and Walker were sharing full-back duties in April, but things came to a head at Wembley when the Spurs boss plumped for the former Burnley defender in the FA Cup semi-final loss to Chelsea.
Walker joined Spurs from Sheffield United with Kyle Naughton, for a combined fee of £9million in 2009.

Pochettino was asked recently about his summer recruitment plans, and admitted some players will be sold, but only if they want out.
The Argentinian said:“The players that we want to keep, we will keep, because [Daniel Levy] said to me ‘we don’t need money’.
"If we sell some players it is because we want to sell some players. For our fans, it is so clear that all the decisions we take are for the reason to try to improve the team, try to be more competitive next season.”
