Kickboxer pulls off Matrix style move to dodge flying kick from opponent
A KICKBOXER appeared to take the red pill before his bout in Thailand.
Rafael Fiziev was able to pull off an awe-inspiring dodge that looked like it came straight from Neo of The Matrix film franchise.
Rafael Fiziev ducks out of the way – like Neo from The MatrixSadly it didn’t matter, as Fiziev was beaten by Sorgraw Petyindeeacademy
Fighting at the Toyota Marathon in Phitsanulok on January 27, Fiziev, nicknamed Ataman, just ducked out of the way of a flying kick just before the bell sounded.
The Kyrgyzstan fighter used speed and awareness to avoid the kick, leaning back almost at a 45 degree angle to get out the way – just like Keanu Reeves’ character famously does in the film.
Unfortunately it didn’t matter for Fiziev, who went on to lose to Sorgraw Petyindeeacademy by decision.
Fiziev is set to leave kickboxing for MMA.
