The former immediately rejected to deal, as Gianluigi Buffon still has another year left — and the Bianconeri are hoping to sign Donnarumma.
Lazio are the more likely destination for Navas, while the goalkeeping situation at Roma will become clearer in the summer.
The Giallorossi are still waiting to see if Wojciech Szczesny will stay beyond the end of the season.
Navas’ departure will open up the door for Real Madrid to sign one of the game’s elite stoppers.
