Kevin Pietersen enjoys a boozy night out in London with £100 cocktails and plenty of red wine

KEVIN PIETERSEN fancies himself as Captain Jack Sparrow – after drinking from a treasure chest in a plush London bar.

The former England cricket star, 35, has uploaded a series of snaps to social media of a boozy night out on the town.

And one of the hotspots KP hit is swanky Mayfair joint Mahiki – a favourite of Prince Harry and One Direction.

The South African-born all-rounder uploaded a picture of himself sipping from the infamous Treasure Chest cocktail.

The signature drink – which costs a staggering £100 – is served in a pirate-style wooden chest, and is garnished with seashells and fruit.

The box comes in three sizes, the biggest of which contains nine litres of alcohol.

KP was drinking his beverage – recommended to share between four and eight people – alone, but there were enough straws available to serve to an entire cricket team.

He captioned the post: “About last night…”

The Rising Pune Supergiants ace appears to have started his night drinking wine.

He tweeted a picture of a bottle of a fancy South African red and captioned it: “1st sip & I’m already worried about tomorrow morning. Getting old! London getting taken DOWN this eve!”

Just three hours later he shared yet more bottles of red wine with the caption: ” Now she’s getting silly! We’re upping the game for all you wine people…”

On Thursday morning KP ordered himself a hangover cure in the form of a full English breakfast.

He captioned the tweet: “Morning after the night before…table for one. Cheers”
