KATIE TAYLOR impressed on her American debut with a third-round stoppage of Jasmine Clarkson in New York.
Olympic gold medallist Taylor won her sixth straight professional fight after a one-sided domination from bell to bell at the Barclays Center.

From the very beginning, Taylor applied pressure going forward and landed shots at will to outclass Clarkson.
“It was great, it was a fantastic experience,” Taylor said about her US debut.
“My first fight here in the US, I think there were a lot of nerves before the fight.
“It was great to get the stoppage in the end as well, there were a lot of Irish people in the crowd which made it very special for me,” Taylor added.
Taylor was humble in victory pointing out that she was caught with a few “silly” shots and how she was “a bit sloppy at times”.
She said: “I thought I did OK, I got caught with a few silly shots and was a bit sloppy at times but I thought overall it was a good performance – I felt good and strong in there tonight.
