Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri reveals his next job will be outside of Italy amid interest from Chelsea and Arsenal

MASSIMILIANO ALLEGRI has declared that he will not manage in Italy again when he leaves Juventus.

The 50-year-old claimed that he has his sights firmly set on the Champions League trophy as his side train ahead of Tuesday’s clash with Real Madrid.

Talking to The Telegraph, he said: “Certainly I will go abroad. In Italy, finished.”

Allegri has led the Italian giants to the top of the league this season and his side will face Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday.

He admitted that he is planning to manage at club level for five or six more years, before switching to international football.

“I don’t want to go being a coach forever.

“Probably I would like to carry on being a club coach for another five of six years, then I would like to coach a national team.”

Arsenal have been linked to the 50-year-old as Arsene Wenger’s future remains the subject of speculation.

It was reported earlier this month that the Juve boss was ready to say yes to a job with the Gunners.

And Chelsea, who are expected to part ways with Antonio Conte at the end of the season, have reportedly indicated their interest in Allegri.

Allegri ended Tottenham’s dreams of Champions League glory at Wembley, with his side winning 4-3 on aggregate.

Speaking of the victory, he said: “Tottenham are certainly a great side and a great club.

“But I knew that during the match there was a period of maybe 15 or 20 minutes where they will concede goals.

“That’s why I told my players to stay very focused, very targeted, because we had to exploit that.

“And that’s what they did.

“What is missing right now is the Champions League. That is my focus.”
