JOSE MOURINHO has taunted arch-rivals Liverpool by declaring: Manchester United are the biggest club in England.
The Red Devils boss was asked if the Old Trafford clash tomorrow is the top fixture in English football and Mourinho said: “I don’t know. I know Manchester United is the biggest club in the country.

“I know. You know. Everybody knows. I’m sorry. It’s easy to know. I can feel the rivalry is big and it’s a big match. People will look to this match with special eyes, that’s for sure.”
But Kop boss Jurgen Klopp says he has no fear taking his faltering team to United, who are chasing their tenth straight victory.

When asked if anything about the clash scared him, Klopp said: “Nothing, what could I fear? At this moment anything is possible. It could be that United are not at their best level, just nobody knows about it yet. I don’t fear things like this.
“I’ve had enough time in the game to realise what happens.
“I’m 100 per cent positive and absolutely looking forward to the game.”
Klopp saw his side lose their EFL Cup semi-final first leg 1-0 at Southampton in midweek.

And defeat tomorrow for Liverpool, tipped as a serious title contender, would see them only two points in front of United and potentially out of the top four.
But the German added: “I’ve had so many defeats in my life, and I really know defeat is not the problem. Your reaction to it is the problem.
“We’ve had four days to react from a really bad game by playing in a very important one. I love it. That’s how football should be — you can react immediately.

Mourinho has warned that his side will be right in Liverpool’s faces.
The rivals played out a drab goalless draw at Anfield in October.
Now United are on a run of nine straight wins — and they should have star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic back from illness, too.

Mourinho said: “At that time I had less time working with my players.
“Now we know each other better, we have a certain way to think and play football.
“We just don’t have good performances, we have good results.”
