And Mourinho said: “It depends on the result, how we analyse the game.
“But if we have to rest players at the weekend, then we will do that.”
That would not only put United’s chances of reaching the top four at risk but also Mourinho’s proud record against fierce rival Arsene Wenger.

There is no love lost between the pair and Mourinho has not lost to Wenger in 15 competitive meetings.
His only defeat came in the 2015 Community Shield. After missing the chance to get in the top four last weekend with another home draw — this time to Swansea —
Mourinho clearly sees the Europa League as United’s best chance of returning to the Champions League.
He said: “I think it would be a good achievement given the problems and allow us to be back to Champions League next season.

“We are going to try and the Europa League becomes for us now more important.”
United are still just a point behind fourth-placed neighbours Manchester City.
But they have a tough run-in with trips to Tottenham and Southampton on top of this weekend’s game at the Emirates as well as a final home game against Crystal Palace.
Former Chelsea boss Mourinho has previously made it clear he will rest players in their final game of the season at home to Palace even if Sam Allardyce’s men are still in a relegation scrap.
He reiterated that on Wednesday, adding: “If players played the ‘hypothetical’ final they would not be selected to play on the Sunday before.”
