JOSE MOURINHO incredibly wants to be FRIENDS with Arsene Wenger.
The Manchester United boss will be hoping to get one over his great rival this weekend when Arsenal visit Old Trafford.

But after years of being sworn enemies, Mourinho is prepared to bury the hatchet.
Arsene Wenger was sacked by the Gunners last week, but the Frenchman will continue until the end of the season.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, Mourinho, who once labelled Wenger a “specialist in failure” said: “If he respects me even 50 per cent of what I respect him we can even be friends in the future.
“But the reality is that he was at Arsenal, he was the champion and I came to the country in 2004 and wanted to steal his title. That’s football.

“But in the end I respect him a lot, I tried to show that in the past couple of years there were no more problems at a different stage of my career with a different profile.
“I feel sorry that after Sir Alex Ferguson – but it was obviously Sir Alex’s decision [to leave] – the next big one, the next iconic one is leaving the Premier League.”

SunSport reported earlier today how, despite revolutionising the North London club, Wenger was axed by the board.
When his exit was first revealed, Arsenal released a statement saying the decision was mutual between club and boss.

But Wenger, 68, today shed new light on what happened when he was asked why he was leaving with a year left on his contract and the Europa League semi-final with Atletico Madrid looming.
He said: “The timing was not my decision. The rest I have spoken about it already.”
SunSport revealed last Saturday how chief executive Ivan Gazidis had finally won his power battle and forced Wenger out of the club 12 months earlier than the Frenchman wanted.
