He was first thrown in the air by his coaching staff before teenage son Jose Jr made his way onto the pitch.
The pair danced in each others' arms - before slipping over and falling to the ground as they laughed and hugged.
Mourinho shouted for joy as the full-time whistle blew.
The Portuguese boss also held four fingers up to the sky, pointing out the number of European cups he has won.
Mourinho won the Uefa Cup and Champions League with Porto and the Champions League again with Inter Milan in 2010 before tonight's triumph.

His League Cup win earlier this season means Mourinho now has TWENTY major honours on his impressive CV.
That includes EIGHT league titles in four countries, the four European cups and another eight domestic cups including the FA Cup, Coppa Italia and Copa del Rey.
And Mourinho even managed to have a DIG at his rivals after full-time.
He said: "It was a very difficult season and a very good season.
"You would prefer it this way than finish fourth, or third or second.
"It's an important title.
"Since the beginning we had this in our minds and the way we played the final was very intelligent.
"We knew exactly how to win.

"If [we are] dominant in the air, we go long.
"There are lots of poets in football... but poets don't win many titles.
"We knew where we better, where they were better than us.
"We tried to kill their good qualities and exploit their weaknesses.
"We did that from the first minute and totally deserved to win the trophy."
