ASTON VILLA’S Jores Okore is set to sign for FC Copenhagen – and could line up for the Danish champions against Leicester in the Champions League.
The 24-year-old is heading back to Denmark tonight for a medical after Villa agreed to let the defender return to his homeland for a cut-price fee.

If the defender agrees personal terms, it will bring an end to his ill-fated spell in the Midlands, when his promising career failed to get off the ground due to a series of unfortunate injuries.
Paul Lambert signed Okore from Nordsjaelland for £4million in June 2013, after persuading the powerhouse defender to turn down offers from Chelsea, Ajax, Valencia and Shakhtar Donetsk with the promise of regular Premier League football.
However the young Dane ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament of his right knee in a challenge with Loic Remy in only his fourth appearance for the club.

Okore was sidelined for 14 months but battled back to help Villa survive a relegation battle for the next two seasons and appeared in the 2015 FA Cup final against Arsenal.
However when Tim Sherwood arrived he struggled to dislodge high-profile signings Joleon Lescott and Micah Richards and made only 14 appearances as Villa finally dropped into the Championship last season.
This season he has made just one appearance for Roberto Di Matteo, in the 3-1 EFL Cup defeat against Luton Town.
