JOCKEY Fergus Gregory has a bleed on the brain but had a “stable” night in hospital following a horror fall at Huntingdon on Tuesday evening.
The conditional jump jockey was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge after his fall from The Blue Bomber who sadly suffered a fatal injury.

Gregory is based with Stratford trainer Olly Murphy who issued a positive update on his recovery.
Murphy said: “He had a stable night. He’s got a small bleed on the brain.
“They are happy enough with him but were just waiting to do another scan. I think they were just waiting for things to settle down first.
Racing at Huntingdon had to be delayed on Tuesday evening after the incident while Gregory was attended to.
