BRITISH NFL superstar Jay Ajayi has joined the Super Bowl-chasing Philadelphia Eagles in a blockbuster deadline day trade
Jay Train has established himself as one of the sport’s leading running backs at the Miami Dolphins.
And he will have a massive chance to win the coveted Vince Lombardi trophy with his new franchise.
Miami will receive a fourth-round pick in 2018 for one of their hottest properties, who has accounted for 465 of their 535 yards on the ground this season.
The Eagles have the best record in the NFl and have decided to go for broke after emerging as second favourites for the Super Bowl.
Londoner Ajayi, 24, enjoyed a breakout season in 2016, earning a Pro Bowl selection after rushing for eight touchdowns and over a thousand yards.
But he has struggled at times this campaign – partly due to poor play from his offensive line and quarterback Jay Cutler.
The Eagles have raced to 7-1 with LeGarrette Blount, Wendell Smallwood and Darren Sproles under center in the league’s fifth-ranked rushing offence.
