FOOTBALL ace Jamie Vardy and wife Rebekah really are living The Good Life — growing veg and keeping chickens.
They are taking a leaf out of Tom and Barbara’s book in the classic TV comedy by turning to home-grown organic produce.

Rebekah, 34, wants to use it to wean three-month-old son Finley, while Leicester City and England striker Jamie, 30, gets eggs for his high-protein diet.
A friend said: “Becky is passionate about fresh ingredients — and they don’t come fresher than straight from the garden.”
The couple grow spuds, sweet potatoes, onions, courgettes, green beans, strawberries, rhubarb at their eight-bedroom Lincolnshire mansion.

Foxes star Vardy even ordered organic feed for the chicks.
The pal said: “He’s got quite attached to them so they’re only for eggs, not eating.”
In the 1970s BBC sitcom, Tom and Barbara Good — played by Richard Briers and Felicity Kendal — become self-sufficient to escape the rat race.
We’ve imagined how Jamie and Rebekah would look in their place.
