“Of course there is a long way to go so you cannot say they are definitely going to win it, but they look the strongest team.
“They are opening up a gap which is going to be difficult to claw back as the months go by.”
Antonio Conte’s table-toppers are six points clear of Liverpool at the top after 12 straight wins.
His Blues have not looked back since he switched their formation to 3-4-3.
Wilshere, 24, added: “They’ve found this new formation and it works for them.

“Chelsea look even more ruthless now, their players know the job in hand and are able to go out there week-in, week-out and change their game depending on who they are playing. That’s the sign of a top team.”
Eden Hazard also gave a thumbs-up to Conte’s style, insisting this is the most exciting Blues team he has played in.
The Belgian playmaker, 25, moved to Stamford Bridge in June 2012 and won the Europa League under Rafa Benitez in 2013 and the title with Jose Mourinho in 2015.
But Hazard said: “Is this the most exciting Chelsea team I’ve played in?
“Yes, because we win every game!
“We are full of confidence. We’re trying to do something that we didn’t do in the past. We’re scoring lots of goals.”
