FORMER World Cup-winner and free agent Cristian Zaccardo is advertising his services — on LinkedIn.
The 35-year-old former Italy international, who was part of the squad was triumphed in Germany in 2006 has no club since leaving Vicenza at the end of last season.

And, clearly struggling to bag a transfer, took to try and find a new side.
He wrote a list of his career stats along with the words: “I cancelled the contract that tied me to the Vicenza until June 2018.
“I’m currently a free soccer player.
“I’m still good physically I could play 2 more years at high levels.
“Who will take me to make a deal?
“Serious professional soccer player and strong!!!”

He was then inundated with messages from fans of lower league clubs in Italy asking him to join their sides.
However, so far he has not had any official offers.
Zaccardo played three times during Italy’s memorable successful World Cup campaign in 2006.
Although, his most telling contribution was an own goal as the Azzurri slipped to a 1-1 draw against the USA.

He spent the majority of the early part of his career with Palermo, before joining Wolfsburg in 2008.
And, in his first season in Germany, he picked up a Bundesliga medal.
Zaccardo then returned to Italy with Parma, where he stayed for four seasons, before the troubled club fell on hard times.
He moved to AC Milan in 2013, where he spent three seasons, before signing for newly-promoted Carpi.
Zaccardo couldn’t help them stay up and the right-back moved to Vicenza last season, where oddly wore the No.9 shirt.
He once again suffered relegation.
