LEICESTER striker Islam Slimani needed stitches after being left with a hole in the back of his leg.
The Algerian came off after 33 minutes in the 1-0 defeat at Wolves after an innocuous challenge from Rod Miranda.

Slimani left the pitch with a gashed leg before being treated by medical staff.
Leicester coach Mike Stowell said: “It was a very nasty cut. It was a freak accident and the blade of the boot has cut him right at the back of his knee.
“There was no way he was going back out there so he had to be stitched up. Hopefully he’ll be back out there against Burton in midweek.”
Riyad Mahrez played for 90 minutes in a lacklustre Leicester display as they went down to a superb 59th minute strike from Ivan Cavaleiro.
The Foxes bosses rejected a second bid from Roma for the Algerian of £32million.
And Foxes coach Stowell made it clear that Mahrez was still focused on his game despite asking for a move last May.

Stowell said: “Riyad’s good in the dressing room, the lads love him. And while he’s here, he’ll do his utmost to play for us.
“He was probably our most creative player here – he’s definitely playing for Leicester City.”
Roma director of football Monchi left the door open for a third bid but said: “We’ve made two offers, the second is fair and then we stopped.
“There are no percentages, the deal will get over the line or it won’t.
“We’re not just working on one name. It’s logical, we have different options. In the case of Mahrez it’s become public knowledge, with others it hasn’t.”

Jamie Vardy missed Leicester’s best chance after 10 minutes when he took the ball around keeper John Ruddy but saw his shot superbly cleared off the line by skipper Conor Coady.
Stowell added: “We’ve had a busy period travelling back from Hong Kong. If we weren’t creating chances we’d be more worried.”
Wolves paraded new record singing Rueben Neves and on loan Atletico Madrid forward Diogo Jota. The Championship side could have won by more and sub Michael Zyro hit the post.
Coady says Wolves have their sights set on promotion under new boss Nuno Espirito Santo.
He said: “We’ve got fire in our belly, this is only the start of what we want to do.
“We have a lot of new players and everybody’s optimistic. There’s some real talent here. We’re excited that next week’s game against Middlesbrough will be a full house. We want to go and do something special rather than be mid-table.”
