THE campaign to oust Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger spread across the Atlantic as fans with a ‘Wenger Out’ poster were spotted on a huge billboard in Times Square, New York.
Wenger has been under mounting criticism from Arsenal fans over their dismal form which looks likely to prevent them from qualifying for the Champions League.
Arsenal have lost five of their last eight league matches and the previous minority of dissenters is quickly turning into universal calls for the 67 year-old Frenchman to be axed.
The picture in Times Square is not the first time international fans have publicly expressed their wish for Wenger to go.

Placards have been seen everywhere from India to New Zealand to Miami recently as disgruntled Gunners vent their frustrations over the stagnant nature of the Club as a whole.
It seems that the majority of fans have now reached breaking point and will only be satisfied when Wenger goes.

Finishing outside the top four, something Wenger has never done as Gunners boss, is looking increasingly likely and even a third FA Cup in four years would be unlikely to change the views of most dissenters.
Arsenal face Manchester City in the semi-final on 23 April in what seems to be Arsenal’s last shot of success this year.

While Wenger still retains the support of the board, his reluctance to announce his plans for next season is only fuelling the fire.
There are some supporters however who are sticking by the three-time Premier League winner.
A quieter group than the Out camp, they still believe that Wenger could turn the tide going forward, as long as he has the desire to do so.
