But the tweet also said that Martial’s focus was on making good preparations in Manchester in an effort to cement a spot in the starting nine.
The rumours of a move coincide with Jose Mourinho’s bid to get Perisic’s signature which has intensified over the past week.
The Red Devil’s are confident on closing a deal but have so far been reluctant to lose Martial on loan as part of the negotiations.
But a move could be beneficial for the 21-year-old who saw limited playing time last season.
With the World Cup next summer Martial could be open to a switch to Milan to gain more playing time.
