Hungarian GP 2017 Qualifying: Sebastian Vettel finishes fastest with Lewis Hamilton having to settle for fourth
LEWIS HAMILTON will have to wait to equal Michael Schumacher’s pole position record after Sebastian Vettel took front spot for the Hungarian Grand Prix.
Hamilton could only qualify down in FOURTH place after an unhappy afternoon where he complained about the performance of his Mercedes.

There were glum faces down in his team’s garage too as boss Toto Wolff could not hide his disappointment at seeing Kimi Raikkonen take second spot to make it a Ferrari one-two.
And in a further blow to Hamilton, he had to see his team-mate Valtteri Bottas qualify in third place.
Meanwhile, Paul Di Resta, who was supposed to be in the Sky F1 commentary box as a replacement for Martin Brundle, who has a virus, was called up to the Williams team.
Di Resta, who is the team’s reserve driver, was on standby as Felipe Massa was feeling unwell the previous evening.
The Brazilian complained of dizziness and underwent checks by medics, who actually gave him the green light to compete in final practice.
Yet he again felt unwell and took the decision to retire from the race weekend meaning Di Resta was thrust into the Williams team for qualifying.

It was the 31-year-old's first F1 action since the Brazilian GP in 2013, and he gave a credible performance given his lack of track action.
Di Resta qualified in 19th place ahead of Sauber's Marcus Ericsson, and he was just 0.7seconds off his team-mate Lance Stroll.
