The ropes turn to a purple colour before the matches take place and it has often been asked how the WWE can change them so quickly.

But a video taken from Raw filmed at the O2 Arena in London shows just how the WWE achieve this.

The footage shows around ten employees jumping into the ring and start to put on purple duct tape to the ropes.

Fans can see the crew frantically taping up the ring equipment and so that they are done before the show is back on the air.

And this means that when the Cruiserweights are done with their match, the employees can get back in and rip off the tape so it goes back to it’s normal red colour.

Many fans assumed the ring was somehow replaced at lightning speed.

But the reality is, the product that can fix anything is what the WWE use.
