How will big spenders Manchester United line up on the Premier league opening day?

AS the opening game approaches we take you through the team we believe Jose Mourinho will field Manchester United‘s opener against Bournemouth.

While there are some very notable names missing, the likes of Chris Smalling and even Paul Pogba the total price tag is still astonishing.

Up front United have spent relatively little on the players themselves with, Academy graduate and Young star Marcus Rashford and Super star Zlatan Ibrahimovic costing nothing if you disregard Zlatan’s Massive wages.

Behind the strikers however the money starts racking up with United captain Wayne Rooney costing £26.6m from Everton over a decade ago- money well spent most would argue- to his left the young super star who lit up the English top tier last with 18 goals in all comps Anthony Martial, he cost United around £30m up front, a number that if he performs to his penitential will eventually double. On the right Red Devils new boy Henrikh Mkhitaryan who cost the club a reasonable £26.3m a sizeable price tag but a player of his quality is worth every penny.

Deeper in the midfield is where we find the biggest absence, Micheal Carrick fills in for United's imminent signing Paul Pogba who likely wont be fit for Sunday as he has only just arrived in Manchester and is yet to train with his new teammates.

Pogba's world record price tag brings the teams total price to around £275m.

More new faces in Defence with Ivory Coast Centre-back Eric Bailly who carries a £30m price tag, sizeable for a relatively unproven player. Bailey impressed in Manchester United's Community shield win, being named BT-sport man of the match, and helping Jose Mourinho's side to their first piece of silverware under his management.

And in goal the ever present and ever improving David de Gea keeps his spot despite rumours that real Madrid are still sniffing.
