Horse racing tips: Market Rasen, Wincanton, Newcastle and Chelmsford – Steve Mullen’s top betting preview for Thursday, November 23
WINCANTON

DAYTIME AHEAD showed promise on her debut for trainer Ron Hodges at Newton Abbot last time out.
She was a close-up fourth there and runs off the same mark today. She’s got winning form over course and distance and some cut in the ground is no problem.
SPRINGTOWN LAKE has done little wrong in two spins over hurdles so far, finishing a close second at Ascot before winning well at Worcester last time out.
He had the race won a long way from home there and could have dug out more if needed. There should be a lot more to come.Getty Images

HOW’S MY FRIEND has few miles on the clock for his age and has looked in need of the run on his two starts this season.
He was a close-up second on his last visit here and should have no trouble seeing out the distance. He has tumbled down the weights and Bryony Frost takes another 5lb off.

DREAMCATCHING was a useful hurdler and is getting a handy weight allowance over the bigger obstacles here.
He looked green when making his debut in this sphere at Ludlow last time. He’s dropped down the handicap for that and should improve for the experience.

STORM HOME was well backed before his hurdling debut here last time and ran a good race to finish second.
He was just run out of it in the closing stages and should benefit from the run. The step up in distance shouldn’t be a problem either looking at his breeding.
3.10
DALAMAN has improved a bundle since moving to Neil Mulholland and completed back-to-back wins for the yard at Plumpton last time.
He had a hefty 24 lengths to spare there and this looks a simple enough task under a 7lb penalty.
