HEAD for the Clouds in Aintree’s 3.35.
VINTAGE CLOUDS (nap) is yet to win over fences but he ran some mighty races last season. He came up against the likes of Politologue and Bristol De Mai and he’ll obviously find this race easier.
I’m expecting him to put that chasing experience to good use today.
SHANTOU VILLAGE (3.00 Aintree, nb) won all four of his completed chase starts last season. He should develop into a smart performer and he will like the ground.
GENTLEMAN JON (2.45 Wincanton, treble) loves this track. He’s a couple of pounds lower in the weights than when successful in this race last year and he wasn’t disgraced after a couple of months of the track last week.
