Adarabioyo and his representatives had been unable to agree wages and the size of a signing on fee with City during months of negotiations.
Everton and Celtic were two of the clubs interested in snapping up the England youth international on a potential free transfer at the end of the season.
However, a breakthrough eventually arrived in the talks and he signed his deal in the run-up to Saturday’s 5-0 victory over Crystal Palace.
He will now earn around £25,000 a week for the first year of his contract, which could reportedly rise to £45,000 in 2018 dependent on a number of clauses.

He was last named in a matchday squad back in December when he played the full match in City’s final Champions League group match against Celtic.
He has been earmarked as a future first-team regular for a number of years and his decision to stay will be a huge boost to the club after they were hit with a ban on signing youth players last week by the Football Association.
