There was a huge police presence in and around White Hart Lane for the game, amid fears of clashes between rival sets of supporters.
All the advertising hoardings around the away section housing the 4,000 Lions fans had also been removed - as a result of Arsenal fans ripping them down when they were held in the stadium last season.

Smoke bombs were let off pre-kick-off as police attempted to keep rival sets of fans apart by constructing barriers and using horses and police vans.
Hundreds of extra stewards were brought in to help provide extra segregation inside the stadium.
And some were also issued with neon-orange hard hats as a precaution in case and objects were thrown.
But there was an unsavoury incident after the game, when a Millwall fan was caught on camera punching a Spurs fan in the face.
Standing at the side of the road, stupidly, the Spurs fan can be heard taunting the Millwall fans as they walk past.
One man, wearing a black coat and cap takes exception, and throws a punch that knocks the rival supporter off his feet.
It is unknown if the man needed medical treatment.
