EX-CHELSEA star Salomon Kalou’s new club has ordered him to answer daily questions about his SEX LIFE.
The striker, who won the Champions League, Premier League and four FA Cups during his six-year Blues stay, currently plays for Hertha Berlin.
The German club has now installed apps on their players’ mobiles that quiz them every morning about how they spent the night.
Ivory Coast international Kalou, 32, ex-Manchester City defender Karim Rekik, 23, and the rest of Hertha’s squad receive five questions at 8am and must reply within an hour.
They are asked about their tiredness, sleep quality, muscle pains, stress levels and mood, and must rate each with a mark out of five – with 1 for the worst level and 5 for the best.
Hertha boss Pal Dardai said: “In this way we find out how well the lads have slept, whether their legs hurt, or if their muscles are tense.”
Club fitness coach Henrik Kuchno added: “We get a personalised picture of every player. Of course a family man will answer the questions very differently from a single guy.
“They get the five questions sent to their mobiles at 8am, and have to reply by 9. This way we can direct the day’s training session perfectly, and know just how far we can push each player.

“It is not a matter of keeping them under surveillance. We rely on them to give their honest opinions, and only this way can we know who has to do more or less work.
“So far the boys have taken to it very well.

“We got the team app from the software makers SAP. Paderborn University developed the study, and their Prof Jochen Baumeister supervises it – he supports us whenever we have questions.”
Hertha are currently 11th in the 18-team Bundesliga, nine points above the drop zone.
Kalou joined them from French club Lille in 2014. He previously scored 60 Chelsea goals in 251 appearances before leaving Stamford Bridge for France in 2012.
Centre-back Rekik spent four seasons with City, but made just one appearance for them. He had spells on loan to Portsmouth and Blackburn.
