Henrikh Mkhitaryan to Manchester United: It would be a ‘sin’ not to chase deal, says Borussia Dortmund forward’s agent

HENRIKH MKHITARYAN’s agent will continue to pursue a deal to send the forward to Manchester United – considering it a “sin” if he didn’t.

Borussia Dortmund have already stated that they do not want to sell the Armenian forward and would rather he stayed for the final year of his contract, even if they lose him for nothing next summer.

Manager Thomas Tuchel has already seen key players Mats Hummels and Ilkay Gundogan leave, while Marco Reus and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are also linked with an exit.

He will not want to lose any more stars but super-agent Mino Raiola says he will continue to push for Mkhitaryan to move to Old Trafford.

He said: “It would be a sin to stop talking.

“I am a positive guy. If I wasn’t confident of reaching some kind of conclusion, I wouldn’t try.

“I am very proud Manchester United want him and the talks are being held in a good atmosphere, but at the moment Dortmund are still saying no.”

Mkhitaryan is said to be keen on a move to Old Trafford and join up with Jose Mourinho.

The 27-year-old scored 19 goals and added 24 assists for Dortmund last season.
