HENRIKH MKHITARYAN has teased Arsenal fans with a cryptic birthday message ahead of his switch to North London.
The 29-year-old was pictured with Paul Pogba and his super-agent Mino Raiola with a switch to the Emirates looming.
The Armenian smiled with a birthday cake in front of him and said: “What am I getting for my birthday..??”
The post was liked by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who is the next player Arsenal have set their sights on.
Manchester United and Arsenal are set to trade one 29-year-old for another with Alexis Sanchez moving to Old Trafford and Mkhitaryan the other way.
Pictures leaked last night of Chilean Sanchez in a United kit on what looks like a training pitch.
TRANSFER NEWS
The Red Devils are set to announce the deal today, which is being hailed as a major coup for executive vice chairman Ed Woodward.
United have upped Sanchez’s weekly wages to the region of £400,000-a-week, while Arsenal were reluctant to pay the stratospheric figures demanded by the forward.
