Hector Bellerin ‘prefers Manchester City over Barcelona because he does not want to repeat Cesc Fabregas’ mistake’
HECTOR BELLERIN prefers a move to Manchester City over a return to Barcelona because he does not want to repeat Cesc Fabregas’ mistake, according to reports.
Right-back Bellerin appears settled in North London and signed a new six-year deal worth £30million as recently as November.

But Pep Guardiola wants to rejuvenate his ageing line-up and speedy Bellerin remains a clear option.
And the door has opened to a possible transfer because Bellerin is reportedly keen to avoid the fate that befell Fabregas when he returned to Spain, according to Don Balon.
The former Arsenal playmaker, who came through Barca’s famed La Masia academy, rejoined the Nou Camp side in August 2011.

Fabregas won trophies including La Liga and the Copa Del Rey during his time there but never nailed down a starting spot.
As a result he begged club bosses to let him leave and said the move to Chelsea in 2014 was to make him "happy both professionally and personally".
Reports in Spain claim Bellerin, 21, wants to avoid a similar move that may limit his playing time and is thought to be attracted to Guardiola's style of play.
The Spanish boss currently has four full-backs over the age of 30 so, with a substantial war chest in the summer, will be looking to bring in new blood.
