Harry Kane, Fernandinho and Leroy Sane among 28 players one booking off missing Boxing Day

Dec 22, 2017

WHO fancies Boxing Day off? Well, most of the country.

But while footballers are used to playing over the festive period, nearly 30 Premier League players stand just one yellow card away from being able to relax and spend Tuesday with their families.

Tottenham main man Harry Kane is one of the superstars just one yellow card away from a booking — Tottenham main man Harry Kane is one of the superstars just one yellow card away from a Boxing Day ban

Five bookings means an automatic one-game ban and a host of regular rule- breakers are on four.
The group — listed in the panel to the right — will not be treading on eggshells for too long though.
After December 31, players need ten bookings before a ban.

So this mob can start throwing their weight around again in the New Year.
