HANNOVER loanee Uffe Bech has launched an appeal against his £44,000 fine for biting an opposition fan.
The 25-year-old was charged with actual bodily harm following an incident that happened inside Hannover’s Niedersachsenstadion.

Following a game between Hannover and Schalke last August, Bech was reportedly attacked by fans from the visiting team in the VIP area of the ground.
His lawyer told Bild: “The player was sitting down when he was attacked from behind by a half-drunk Schalke fan.
“That man put a stranglehold on Bech’s neck.”
Bech is appealing the decision because he said he acted in self defence.

The case will now be heard at Hannover’s district court on April 17.
Bech signed for Hannover on a four-year deal in 2015 from Danish side FC Nordsjaelland.
But he was limited to just 18 appearances in three years before moving to Greuther Furth on loan.
